IN THE PRESS

“Aristotle’s rhetorical appeals, such as ethos, pathos, logos, KAIROS, and Chronos are commonly known. KAIROS in particular holds value because it is a necessary component in much of rhetoric, yet it has a wide variety of applications and uses. An understanding of KAIROS can elevate nearly any argument, but it is crucial if there is an exact right time to say or do a particular thing.”

Kairos
noun

Merriam-Webster, Dictionary Com

WORD ORIGIN

The term "kairos" originates from ancient Greek, where it denotes the concept of the "right" or "opportune moment”.

The theological interpretation of "kairos" sees it as "God's time" or a divinely appointed moment, contrasting with the more secular "chronos”.

“Kairos”, καιρός in Greek, was used in various contexts, from archery, where it referred to the moment an arrow would be released for it to hit its target, to weaving, where it denoted the exact moment a shuttle could pass through loom threads.

In modern usage, "kairos" is often invoked to describe an ideal or critical moment for action or decision.
