A GREAT RESTAURANT!

An elderly couple had dinner at a younger couple’s house. After eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.

The gentlemen continued talking and the elderly one said, “Last night we went out to a great new restaurant, I can highly recommend it.”

The younger man asked, “What’s the name of the restaurant?”

The elderly man paused in obvious concentration and finally said to his companion, “What’s the name of that red flower you give to someone you love?”

“A carnation?” suggested the other.

“No, no. The other flower,” the man said.

His friend offered another suggestion, “A poppy?”

“No! it’s red and has thorns.”

His friend said, “Ah, you mean a rose!”

“That’s it. Thank you!” the elderly man replied…. he then turned toward the kitchen and shouted:

“Hey Rose, what’s the name of that restaurant we went to last night?”
