--- Fan sues for lacklustre performance
A law-practising soccer fan has filed a suit against the Chinese national men's football team, accusing them of "lacklustre performances." The accuser wants the court to impose of sentence of a guarantee that the team reaches the quarter-finals at the next World Cup.
The angry fan said, "I thought of filing a lawsuit against the national team, especially after seeing North Korea earn respect by only conceding a 2-1 defeat to favourites Brazil."
The fan, who is also a lawyer, claims he is not seeking publicity, as some observers have suggested. He says his goal is just to promote Chinese football.
