"Sich auf einer Party von Allen verabschieden und dann doch bleiben"
“The Urban Dictionary has taken inspiration from the current chaos in the UK and given the verb BREXITING a slightly different meaning.”

THE USUAL MEANING of BREXIT
The usual meaning of Brexit and Brexiting is the act of Britain leaving the European Union.
But will Brexit actually happen?
Nothing seems to get Parliament any closer on agreeing on a way for the UK to leave the EU with a deal. In fact, MPs rejected every kind of Brexit – including no Brexit at all – in a series of indicative votes last week.
And now with almost 6 million people signing a petition to cancel Brexit, it remains to be seen if Brexit really means Brexit.

A NEW MEANING FOR BREXIT
Meanwhile, The Urban Dictionary is suggesting a more generic meaning for BREXITING:
’Saying goodbye to everyone at a party and then not leaving’

APRIL 1st
Today's OWAD is no April Fool joke, although this quote from French MEP, Natalie Loiseau, certainly sounds like one:
“I’ve named my cat BREXIT. She wakes me up because she wants to go out. When I open the door she stands there indecisively. When I put her out, she looks at me resentfully."
